What is Avemar? |

Avemar is a complementary cancer treatment made from Fermented Wheat Germ Extract! It is a natural product, is nontoxic, and has no major side effects.

Who can take Avemar? |
|
|
Using Avemar is recommended for patients suffering from malignant tumors as a supplement to clinical oncology treatment (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, ... etc). Also anybody, who has an immune deficiency, or who would like to prevent immune related diseases.
It is advised to use Avemar in any cancer stages. It is reducing the oncology treatment side effects as well.

How do you take Avemar? |
|

Avemar comes in a powder form. AVEMAR® is available in a box of 30 sachets. One box of AVEMAR®
510 g (30 x 17g) which is a one month supply.
Recommended dosage 17g (1 sachet) per day, dissolved in 200-250 ml cold water.
The diluted Avemar should be consumed within 20 minutes.
It is recommended to be consumed in the morning, 1 hour before meals. Patients with bodyweight of more than 90kg should consume 2 sachets per day. |

How should Avemar be stored? |
|

Avemar should be refrigerated at all times. Avemar should be consumed within 2 months of opening
the plastic container.

Is the fermented wheat germ genetically modified? |
|
|
No. The manufacturer dose not allow, or use genetically modified wheat, wheat germ, or ingredients.

Can Avemar be taken only with water? |
|
|
Avemar may be taken with a cold soft drink or non-carbonated mineral water which does not contain vitamin C (ascorbic acid or E 300).

How long should Avemar be taken? |

Avemar should be used continuously during the illness of the patients.

Is the taste natural? |
|
|
Yes. After the fermentation process, Avemar has an unpleasant taste, and so the manufacturer has balanced the taste with a natural orange flavor.

Does Avemar have any side effect? |
|
|
Soft stool, unsettled stomach and nausea are infrequent side effects of Avemar. No major side effects have been reported.

Are there any precautions? |
|

Contains gluten. If symptoms persist consult your health care practitioner. Pregnant women, diabetics, organ transplant and under the age of 14 patients, should consult their medical professionals.

Can diabetics use Avemar? |

Can I take medication together with Avemar? |

It is advised that you should have a two-hour gap between any medication and Avemar.

Only because no clinical studies have been done using Avemar on children under 14 years of age.

Clinical trials of Avemar began in the second half of 1995. During these clinical trials more than 1200 patients took and/or are taking Avemar. These trials have been conducted according to the standards of GCP (Good Clinical Practice). Data has been analyzed by a committee of independent experts.
